I literally devoured this book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down as the tension and angst grew between Brandi & Marco. Then add the growing sense of doom as I realized the end of the book was near, I knew I was destined for a book hangover. I was right. I'm so messed up I don't think I can physically eat. Correction, I could but it would be a whole pan of brownies while I uglier cried myself to sleep.
The author did an amazing job developing Brandi's character. I was left with no doubt about any of her actions throughout the story. Her decisions and reactions were spot on. I find that rare and takes extreme talent in my opinion. I liked her "no need to make it more than what it is" attitude and found it to be refreshing and likeable.
Marco, Marco, Marco...*fans self* Just thinking of him makes me all tongue tied, drooling, and wanting to do a double take on some amazing scenes!! Example: First REAL kiss scene...those who have read it will know what I'm talking about *WINK* Yep, bookmarked!!!
Seriously, this book is definitely one of my top reads for 2016!
